Greenwich Borough Reserves go top of the Suburban League South with a 4-2 against Crowborough Ath Reserves
Our Reserve squad put in another fine performance as they continued their unbeaten run in Suburban League South.
Manager Owen Jones added three more players to his squad as George Jones, Ben Marlow and Daniel Flemming joined the boys in time for their home game against Crowborough Athletic FC.
Ben Marlow and George Jones went straight into the starting eleven with Daniel Flemming on the bench.
Nico James opened the scoring for The Borough on 27 mins only for the scores to be pulled level at 1-1 just four minutes later on 31mins.
An early substitution followed on 33min as Ross Phillips was replaced by Billy Holloway.
Things did not go to plan just before half time as The Borough conceded a penalty an initial save from Kristian Mole was turned back in on 43mins

It took Borough until the 66th minute to get back on level terms as Jack Mahon made the most of a Jordy Akimwami assist to level the scores 2-2.
Four minutes later and the goal machine that is Steve Jerrom was on the scoresheet to make 3-2 The Borough.
Just a minute later and The Borough were further ahead thanks to Jordy netting a goal of his own to make it 4-2. on 71min
Steve Jerrom was not finished however and on 75mins he converted a Billy Holloway assist to complete an impressive 9 minutes of play to make it 5-2 to the boys in red and black.
A Ben Marlow booking was followed by a double substitution as he was replaced by Daniel Flemming getting his debut and Jack Mahon was replaced by Romayle Wade on 77mins.

The win takes the Reserves to the top of the Suburban League South Table and continues a formidable unbeaten start for the squad.
