Cray Valley PM u21 v Greenwich Borough Res
Honours even as two unbeaten teams share a point each
Two unbeaten sides took to the Field at Badgers Sports on Thursday night and 90 minutes later they were still both undefeated.
They often say football is a game of two halves as indeed this was.
Greenwich rode out some strong early pressure with most of the first ten minutes spent in their own half but took the lead against the early run of play with a strike from Jordy Akumwami on 11 minutes.
Greenwich grew in confidence from this point and took the game well to Cray Valley who are currently top of the suburban League South.
They managed to double their lead five minutes before the break thanks to the finishing of Jack Mahon who struck on 40 minutes.

The second half was Cray Valleys as they started the more positive looking to get back into the game which they did through a Freekick on 53 minutes.
It was all level nine minutes later on 62 as Greenwich found themselves on defensive duty as the game was taken to them.
The last 20 minutes was probably honours even in terms of possession though as Greenwich came back on terms and a final scoreline of 2-2 was a fair reflection of the game.
