Ollie Webber Joined us on loan from Crystal Palace in January 2019 after suffering heavy defeats in previous matches he faced a tough challenge joining the Borough. The young talented keeper has come in under great pressure to fight relegation after heavy defeats before his arrival to Ashford United and Herne Bay. His arrival gave the team hope with his strong presence and more recently 3 clean sheets in a row he has become an unsung hero in this squad. The club felt the loss of Tom McGill who was loaned from Brighton only until early Jan 2019 and then went on to play for another club, the Borough was left with a keeper "crisis". With the introduction of the new managers Steve Sallis and Steve O'Boyle they knew the task ahead and drafted the players in to do the job including Ollie Webber.
He has been a great addition to this squad we would like to congratulate his offer of a pro contract from Crystal Palace last week, not only well deserved but has kept Borough very much in the fight to beat relegation.
